Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the International Women's Chamber of Central Florida (“IWCCF,” “the Chamber,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information in connection with https://iwccf.org/ and the related digital services, forms, and communications we provide.
1. Scope and Introduction
IWCCF is a women-focused chamber of commerce serving Orlando and Central Florida. This policy applies to the IWCCF website and the digital services offered through it, including membership enrollment, board and committee applications, sponsorship inquiries, event interest and registration, contact requests, and newsletter signup.
It does not govern the independent privacy practices of third-party websites, platforms, or venues that you may reach from our site.
2. Information You Provide Directly
We collect the information you choose to submit. Depending on the form or interaction, this may include:
- Name and preferred name
- Email address and phone number
- Business or organization name, job title, and industry
- Application information (board and committee applications, including professional background, areas of interest, and links to a LinkedIn profile or business website you provide)
- Membership information and tier selection
- Sponsorship inquiry details
- Event registration and attendance interest
- The content of messages, questions, and other communications you send us
- Any other information you voluntarily submit
Please do not send us sensitive personal information that we have not asked for.
3. Transaction and Payment Information
Membership dues, event fees, sponsorships, and similar transactions may be processed through third-party payment and CRM providers, including GoHighLevel and Stripe. Where a third-party processor handles the transaction, complete payment card details are submitted to and handled by that processor under its own terms and privacy policy — IWCCF does not need to, and generally does not, store full payment card numbers.
We may retain transaction records such as the member or purchaser name, contact details, item purchased, amount, date, and confirmation identifiers for accounting, membership administration, and recordkeeping.
4. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the site, certain information may be collected automatically by us or by our service providers, including:
- IP address
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed and links or buttons interacted with
- Referring source or search terms that led you to the site
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- Date and time stamps and session duration
- General usage and interaction data
- Information collected via cookies and similar technologies
6. Google Analytics
When enabled, Google Analytics may use cookies and similar identifiers to help us understand how visitors find and use the IWCCF website. Analytics information is reviewed in aggregate — for example, which pages are most visited — and is used to improve the website, our content, and our programming.
Analytics is treated as an optional category. It is not loaded unless you grant analytics consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time through Cookie Preferences. Google’s handling of the data it collects is governed by Google’s own privacy policy and terms.
7. GoHighLevel, CRM, and Embedded Forms
Our board, committee, sponsorship, membership, contact, and newsletter forms are provided as embedded forms hosted by GoHighLevel. Information you submit through those forms may be transmitted to, processed by, and stored in GoHighLevel or related service providers acting on our behalf, so that the Chamber can review, respond to, and administer your request.
Those providers process the information under their agreements with us and their own privacy and security practices.
8. Communications
Depending on your interactions and choices, we may communicate with you by:
- Transactional and operational email — application confirmations, membership and payment records, event details, and responses to your inquiries. These are necessary to deliver what you asked for.
- Marketing email — Chamber news, programs, events, and member opportunities, where you have signed up or otherwise opted in.
- SMS/text messages — only where you have provided a mobile number and given the applicable consent.
- Automated or AI-assisted communications — some replies, reminders, and follow-ups may be sent through automated workflows or drafted with AI assistance.
Optional marketing and text-message consent can be withdrawn. Where supported, you may reply STOP to opt out of text messages, and you may use the unsubscribe link included in marketing emails. We may still send communications necessary to administer a membership, application, transaction, or request you have made. Message and data rates may apply to text messages.
9. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries, requests, and messages
- Review and process board applications, committee applications, membership enrollments, sponsorship inquiries, and event registrations
- Provide Chamber programs, benefits, and member services
- Send the communications described above
- Improve the website, our content, our events, and our programming
- Maintain the security and integrity of the site and prevent misuse or fraud
- Comply with applicable legal, tax, and accounting obligations
- Administer the ordinary operations of the organization
10. How Information May Be Disclosed
We may share personal information with:
- Service providers and technology vendors that host our site, CRM, email, and forms and act on our instructions
- Payment processors such as GoHighLevel and Stripe for dues, event fees, and sponsorships
- Event and operational vendors where reasonably necessary to run an event or program (for example, a venue guest list)
- Professional advisers such as accountants, auditors, and attorneys
- Legal and compliance recipients where we believe disclosure is required by law or legal process, or is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property
- Successor organizations in connection with an organizational change such as a merger, affiliation, or transfer of operations
IWCCF does not sell personal information for money. Because vendors necessarily process data on our behalf in order to operate the site and our programs, we do not claim that information is never shared — we limit sharing to the purposes described here.
11. Third-Party Links and Social Platforms
Our site links to third-party websites, member and sponsor businesses, and social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Once you leave the IWCCF website or interact with a third-party platform, that third party’s privacy practices and terms control. We encourage you to review them.
12. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing Chamber services and communications, and to satisfy legal, accounting, membership-recordkeeping, and other operational obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Retention periods vary by record type.
13. Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
- Communication preferences. Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in those messages, reply STOP to text messages where supported, or email us.
- Cookie preferences. Change your analytics choice at any time via Cookie Preferences in the footer, or use your browser settings.
- Access, correction, and deletion. Where applicable law provides these rights, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing info@iwccf.org.
Privacy rights vary by jurisdiction, and not all rights are available to all individuals. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may retain information where permitted or required by law.
15. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. There is no single industry standard for how these should be honored. We handle browser privacy signals as required by applicable law, and we do not claim universal support for every such signal. Our Cookie Preferences control is the most reliable way to tell us your analytics choice for this site.
16. Children
This website is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
18. Contact Us
