Terms of Use

Effective date: August 23, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of https://iwccf.org/ and the digital services made available through it by the International Women's Chamber of Central Florida (“IWCCF,” “the Chamber,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Acceptance of Terms and Scope

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These Terms apply to the website and its forms, content, and features. Separate agreements — such as a membership agreement, event registration terms, or a sponsorship agreement — may also apply to specific transactions.

2. Eligibility and Lawful Use

You must be able to form a binding agreement under applicable law to use this site for transactions, and you must use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit.

3. Informational Purpose

Website content is provided for general informational purposes about the Chamber and its programs. Chamber information, benefits, programming, pricing, schedules, and policies may change. Content does not constitute legal, financial, tax, or professional advice.

4. Membership and Applications

Membership enrollments, board applications, and committee applications submitted through this site are requests, not automatic acceptances. They are subject to IWCCF eligibility criteria, review and approval processes, the Chamber’s bylaws and policies, and the disclosures presented at checkout or within the applicable form. IWCCF may accept, decline, or request additional information regarding any application consistent with its governing documents and applicable law.

5. Dues, Payments, and Renewals

Membership dues, event fees, and sponsorship payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, including GoHighLevel and Stripe, under their own terms.

Any refund, cancellation, renewal, transfer, proration, or recurring payment terms applicable to a transaction are those disclosed in the applicable checkout, membership agreement, event registration, sponsorship agreement, or IWCCF policy in effect at the time of the transaction. Please review those disclosures before completing a purchase, and contact us at info@iwccf.org with questions.

6. Events and Programs

Event dates, times, schedules, speakers, formats, venues, capacity, and availability may change or be canceled. Some events and programs have separate registration terms, capacity limits, member-rate eligibility, or venue rules, which apply in addition to these Terms.

7. Sponsorships and Partnerships

Submitting a sponsorship inquiry does not create a sponsorship and does not guarantee acceptance. Sponsorship benefits, placements, durations, deliverables, and payment obligations are governed by any separate written sponsorship agreement between the sponsor and IWCCF.

8. Electronic Communications

By using the site and submitting a form, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically, and that you may receive operational communications reasonably necessary to administer the services, applications, memberships, events, or requests you have initiated.

Marketing communications, SMS/text messages, and automated or AI-assisted communications are subject to the consent choices you provide and to applicable law. Where applicable, consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of purchase or membership. You may withdraw optional marketing or text consent as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

The site and its content — including text, graphics, layout, design, photographs, logos, trademarks, service marks, and other materials — are owned by IWCCF or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. The IWCCF name, the International Women’s Chamber of Central Florida name, and the IWCCF logo are marks of the Chamber.

You may view and print content for your own personal, noncommercial reference. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from site content, or use IWCCF names or marks in a way that is unauthorized or that suggests endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship that does not exist, without our prior written permission.

10. Your Submissions

You retain ownership of the content and information you submit through the site. You grant IWCCF a limited, non-exclusive right to use, store, reproduce, and share that content only as reasonably necessary to review and process your request, application, membership, registration, or inquiry and to administer Chamber services and operations.

This is not a general publicity or promotional license. We will seek your permission separately before using your name, likeness, business name, or submitted materials in marketing or public-facing promotional content, except where you have specifically provided that material for publication (for example, a directory or speaker listing).

You represent that you have the right to submit the content you provide and that it does not infringe the rights of others.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or infringe the rights of others through the site
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data in a manner that burdens, degrades, or disrupts the site or its infrastructure
  • Interfere with security features, attempt unauthorized access to any account, system, or data, or probe or test system vulnerabilities
  • Impersonate any person or organization or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Submit content that infringes intellectual property rights

12. Third-Party Services and Links

The site contains links to and embedded services from third parties, including form and payment providers and member, sponsor, and partner websites. We do not control those services and do not guarantee or endorse their content, availability, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is subject to that party’s terms and privacy policy.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that content is complete or current at all times. We do not guarantee any particular business, networking, referral, or financial outcome from membership, events, or use of the site.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IWCCF and its officers, directors, volunteers, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost business opportunities, arising out of or relating to your use of the website.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability or right that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless IWCCF and its officers, directors, volunteers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising out of your misuse of the website or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

16. Suspension and Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate access to the website, in whole or in part, for any user who misuses the site or violates these Terms, or where necessary to protect the site, our members, or our operations.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the website will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction located in the State of Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

19. Severability and No Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
